Very Early Peaches

We have a new early yellow peach and this year it's REALLY early.
I expect to be open on Friday, July 2 from 9-5:30 or we sell out.
So only tell your best friends this week.
We'll open with a good quantity of Sugar May in mid-July...
The Apricots are also going to be picked and will be available on Friday as well.
Kind of fun to have fruit for the holiday weekend!

Won't be long before the Raspberries and Blackberries are ready.
We gotta get the nets up but the boys have been thinning the peaches
so they have time to grow before the season begins.
Lots to do yet.

Old News

The boys picked the few sour cherries for jam. We had a very nice sweet cherry season. It was early but we picked a lot and ate a lot! It was nice to not have them all explode in the rain.
Hale cools off digging in the sandbox. Watch your step and don't get too close!

Get ready for more early fruit!

These blackberries are supposed to be ready in August- but they're getting color now.
Maybe they'll be ready for July 4th?!
Guess we better get the bird netting on them!
Going to pick Sweet Cherries tomorrow, these are the yellow and red ones, delicious!

Cherry Time!

We picked sweet cherries and it's so much fun! There's lots available in the store this week.
Strawberries are winding down so don't wait, this rain should brighten up the last varieties.
We'll be at the farm late on Thursday and then all day Friday and Saturday.

The boys picked a couple hundred pounds of cherries today. They are delicious!
Don't miss them this week.
These ladies spent a little time this afternoon picking berries for a special strawberry beer. Sounds good to me! There's still lots of fruit to find in the field.

We picked a few of the first sweet cherries today,
Miriam and Amanda are sorting them to put in the market.
Strawberries are Late Glow and Jewel in the market, everyone is very happy!
Pick Your Own is going great.
Lots of fruit going home for eating!

Gary and Chelsea begin the flower planting. There's some in the tunnel and some in the field. Blooming in August should be amazing!
