Wheeeee! We're picking all the fields.

Boys enjoy post picking snacking...
Gary and Chelsea begin the flower planting. There's some in the tunnel and some in the field. Blooming in August should be amazing!
Chris and Dan pick on the cart, perfect in the shade! All they need is a cupholder and the music!

Buzzing of the Bees

Take a close look, the bees are there!

Wow, the bees have found the strawberries in the tunnel!
Gary says it's almost deafening.
We're very happy! The field berries are even seeing some bees. Yeeessss!

Apple Bloom

The Stayman Apples are really blooming this year! The only apple that's not blooming like crazy is the Mutsu, which we probably overcropped last year.
Hale loves to check out anything growing in the orchard.Strawberries made it through the cold night with a little help from the row cover and the tunnels. We'd love to see some early strawberries!!

Spring 2010

As a farmer, I should believe that spring will come. But I'm always surprised when it does!
The new peach/nectarine block on the lower farm looks great as do the tunnel strawberries
- in fact there's a few blossoms here and there to tempt us.
