Good Weekend for Berries

Well, the change in the weather has encouraged the fields of berries. We'll be having pick your own saturday and sunday. We're hoping some of our mid season varieties will come along.
Of course our Late Glo's are starting to be ready so it won't be a long season, but so far everything tastes good!

Strawberry Woes...

Well, the pick your own fields are looking pretty slim.
Those super hot days seemed to cook the fruit, what small quantities we had.
There are a few rows of late field berries that we hope will sustain the market.

The tunnel strawberries are really close.
Hale rescued the strawberries from marauding bunnies- Yeah!

They've almost caught up to the tunnel berries!

Hale checks out the tunnel strawberries, the bloom is really nice there , too.Blossom thinning in the peaches, Hale is such a help!

Looks like this weekend will be the Apple Blossoms...

Well, April showers have finally brought flowers!
The peaches are pushing pretty hard, we'll have full bloom by the end of the week.
